front suspension camber adjustment on 335i

Suspension question, (335i sdn E90) Running 19 inch CSLs and BMW performance springs/struts with upgraded sways. Is it better to have as much negative camber in the front as possible for better turn-in/handling? Tire wear is not an issue for me. I know the alignment pin in the top of the strut can be drilled out which allows for a small bit of camber adjustment.

Have you tried the M3 control arms yet? That adds some negative camber.

Your set-up should fit the driving that you do. If you are focussed on autocross, then you may want to go further down the path of negative camber, and a huge front sway bar. If you are interested in high speed highway performance and rational DD, then you need a different set-up. One of the keys to getting good performance involves reducing the flex in the bushings that allow for movement and changes in wheel angles. Hence the interest in the M3 suspension parts.

The front M spec wishbones will be a great addition for you!

Are you sure this applies to the E9x? Harold, have you seen this done?

+1 on the M3 bits to add a litle camber.

Yes. The pin is removable, then you move the strut in the slotted holes to adjust the camber.

No, I never looked into that. If there is any adjustment, it's very minimum.

Adding the lower wishbones and camber plates are the way to go.
