Turbo lag after seafoaming?
Just seafoamed the 335i for the first time, through the vac line attached to the intake manifold. Seems like there is some noticeable to extreme turbo lag when i step on it.. This was noticeable immediately after. Any ideas why?...possibly forgot to attach something back correctly.. (checked but maybe I should check again)

I'll be walnut blasting, or checmical cleaning in the next month or so. Moving the valves to TDC and letting cleaner sit for 30 mins and scrubbing seems to work well as apposed to $$$ walnut blasting

Ya, I agree with everyone here. I was always an advocate for seafoam but after seeing the build-up on my intake valves I know for a fact there is no way seafoam does anything.
I couldn't even get the carbon off with my walnut blaster at 100psi. It was way too messy after doing the first two cylinders. So I moved to the throttle body cleaner method with manual scrubbing |

I took off the intake manifold but found it too much work to get the valves to be TDC so i could let carb cleaner soak in there. I also was afraid to use an electric shop to suck out the dirty carb cleaner, that seems like a huge hazard i didn't want to tackle... I'm looking for a local indy shop to do chemical cleaning and scrubbing, walnut blasting is only done by my dealer so far and $800 is ridiculous.

The BMW walnut blaster is awesome. Costs $800 just for the tool, but it is worth it for a shop. My tech just got done doing an N54 an hour ago, and the buildup was horrendous after 80k miles. The BMW blaster tool is the only way to go. Before we got it, I did mine manually with carb cleaner, brake clean, and gun brushes. What a PITA!! Made a mess on the side of the motor, too.
