Anyone here used the factory touch-up paint?

I got some scuff marks underneath my front bumper. They're not even visible unless you get on the ground and look up, but they still bother me. I bought the factory touch up paint for my car. I was wondering if anyone has ever used these and how they look afterwards. I've done this on my old car, and I wasn't happy with the results.

I also asked BMW if they had different kinds of paint for different surfaces (metal vs. plastic), and they said no. I'm really hoping the touch up comes out ok on the bumper.

i have used the factory touch up paint before... you must put at least 5-6 coats to make it look decent, but you can still tell its been touched up....

Also, my touch up paint came with the base coat and the clear laquer. I'm assuming I apply the base coat, let it dry for approx 30 min, and then apply the clear laquer. Is this the correct procedure?

correct ... make sure you clean the area really well before applying the paint ... i suggest getting a paint brush from an art store for a finner touch up ... then apply the clear coat

honestly, i wouldn't do it if the damage is under the bumper where it isn't visible
