Best E92 Coupe Forum In UK?
I just wondered what is the best UK BMW forum is because I do have the tendency to spend many hours online and have pretty much read through all the threads that interests me. So far I think this is the Best forum even though most members are from other countries.
I use to own a civic and there are a few other forums based in the UK i just wondered is there any others worth joining? Please don't take this the wrong way admins and fellow members I just want to expand my knowledge and see what is going on with the whole UK BMW scene. Thank You |

I think this is the only U.k forum for e92 where there is alot of owners. Tech wise if you have N54 or n54 the main forum has lots of discussion. N54tech forum also has lots of people but generally e90post has the most e92 members.

All the other forums are filled with children with e36/46s.... Not saying they are shit...but they are a lot more affordable. Unfortunately, one day very soon our e92s will be snapped up by then.

I've long argued it'd be sensible to set up a "marque agnostic" spiritual home for the good friends amongst us to hang around post the sale of our E9xs and of course during the "demise" of this forum as the cars "fall into the wrong hands" so to speak.
It's an idea I've never had much success pushing though, and I don't want to go up against the moderators here - so also have little intention of trying to unduly hammer (I do have my own forum as is widely known... ) I mean look, a couple of us might go to F30post. I will go to 2addicts or whatever that site is going to be most likely when the M2 comes out. But many many people will go for many other models or marques; and it's a shame to see the guts of the community fall away... I think alot of the "older" members on here (in terms of registration date I mean of course: I'm but a child really) have hung around only due to the sense of community they have and the friendships they/we have built up. That will in time pass because it gets less and less likely one will come online tomorrow if today's content is mostly just "lewk at my sikk splitta blud". Ho hum Dave (An ting!)

Type R is a great car until you reach 21 and can insure something proper.
I'd have loved one when I was 18. But by time I could afford the BM I didn't even consider one.

Funny, Someone from the Z4 forum recently bought an e90 and I mentioned that the technical areas of this forum had went all bruv and innit. He mentioned that he noticed it was a bit N-dubz (whatever that means, perhaps a youngster like Mega can explain )
This off topic section is still good for a laugh some days and I guess if you are looking for e9x info there are loads of informative threads if you use the search. Still good to go into the model specific bits every once in a while and see how cars are being ruined. The last civic type R was a bit poo but the integras and the earlier civic are great fun to drive. I'd rate them as being as much a drivers car as any non M BMW even though they may not be as quick. It's all about the fun.
