Century 16 Aurora Shooting

Just wanted to see if my fellow E90Posters are okay, and hopefully none of you are directly affected by this senseless act of violence. Let's remember to keep the victims in our thoughts and prayers today and stick together as a community.

Crazy shit man, horrible story to wake up to. I have never been to that theater, but I am still not all that far away.

FWIW, I am still going to see Dark Knight Rises tomorrow.

I've been to that theater quite a few times before. Freaking scary shit.

We were thinking of going to catch the movie this weekend sometime if time permitted, likely at that exact theater, but at this rate, I'm inclined to hold off on it for a few more weeks.

Counts are already up at 12 killed and 59 more wounded.

The more I think I understand humankind, the more I realize I don't. (That's why I like simple things, like cars.) One can't understand 'senseless'. Thoughts, wishes and prayers to those who were affected.

The theater is about 15 min away from me. I won't let that nutjob win. My son and I went to DKR tonite, and it was epic. We went to the Movie Tavern, they had security, but it was sad to see some of the staff crying. Doing some research, it looks like they lost one of their own in the shootings.

We can't let the nutjob win. Enjoy the movie, it was epic.
