Question Lux AEs vs Mtec AEs Question

Looking to upgrade my AEs to either LUX or Mtec. I know there are tons of threads on AEs, but I've narrowed it down to these two. Tried a brief search but couldn't find a comparison for e92.

I would just like to know if anyone has ever done a side by side for a e92?

I would definitely like to hear from those who have owned and tried both. Which one is brighter and evenly distributed? Pictures would definitely help.

Idk what price you are looking at. But Lux I kept reading was by far the best plug and play (I was not interested at all in HID due to how hot i read they get and blinding brightness at night)

Never heard a bad thing about Lux and they're customer support I read was great. As far as mods go, angel eye bulbs don't break the bank. It's either 100 for cheap LED's or a little over 200 for Lux.

I didn't hesitate to pay a little more for a quality product with great support in case something goes wrong down the road.

I love my V3's. I saw the Cree led's in person once and the lux are twice as bright IMO. That right there more than justifies the price difference. The customer service is a bonus.

I have lux now and the didn't work the first day I got them and they still don't work right. Bought them brand new about two months ago and was told by Lux the reason why they don't work is because it was install error..... Before I said anything, he automatically assumed so. Would never buy lux again

Go with LUX, they are by far the best and brightest plug and play ever.. I live in the city, so I normally just drive with them on as halos and fogs lol

LUX also provides great customer care, one of mine had a problem with it's battery pack. They helped me try to resolve the problem, but when we couldn't.. they just replaced it for me..

Unfortunately one of the LED's was broken upon the install process so the units would have needed to be replaced.

How do you know it was a install error? Did you even requested him to send you back the unit to find out what went wrong? Sounds like bad business to me!

How did you come to that conclusion?? I never sent them back to you? I have all the emails of our conversation.

That was the whole problem, you stated that it was my fault from the beginning and that I should send them back just to make sure and that it wouldn't be covered under warranty. In the meantime you wanted me to purchase a new set and pay expedited shipping just because I needed the lights for the weekend.

Not going to make a big deal about this. Sorry to get off topic.
Lux you can contact me by PM if you want.

You never responded to our last e-mail so i just sent you another one. We were waiting on pictures of the unit to determine the issue. We came to the original conclusion because we have seen this issue in the past. Lets please continue this conversion through e-mail. Thank you

Lux for over a year now in 2 different vehicles. The best in my opinion. Seems to be 2 camps. Pro Lux and people who think Lux are a rip off. I'm in the Pro Lux camp.

I say LUX. Had a pair on for about 4yrs now. One side went out last year and even though I asked about how much to send the unit in for repair, I opted just buy a whole new set. Yeah I spent more money than I really needed to but that's how pleased I am with them and now have an extra spare just in case. Don't know how someone could break them when installing as I found the process pretty straightforward. With regard to customer service, LUX always got back to me and was very accommodating when I had questions. Just my $0.02

I probably could have repaired the set that went bad if you send an e-mail over too.

I am for one who like a little blue tint from my light. And I'm deciding to get the upgrade as well. Can anyone tell me which one has the most blueish aura?

Hey Marc, I know I had the option of just sending you the faulty unit, I just decided to go with a whole new set when we exchanged emails. I had the money to burn at the time. If something else comes up and I'm strapped for cash I will always have that option. That being said, just putting it out there that, for me, your product is superior when it comes to halogens and xenons and your customer service is top notch.
