Help real fast!
I was that that if you pull fuse number 20 that it would make the xi into rwd. I'm looking in the fuse box right now and there 5 different fuses with "20" on it. Help please

I dont think you want to do that...these cars are set up to run all 4 wheels at the same time. They are also supposed to be running the same size tires....
The transfer case will probably get angry and I mean in a physical failure sort of way, if you try to run one end of the car without the other one knowing about it. If the car senses that the drive system is out of whack, it could limp mode on you or not run at all.... I know what you are saying...and why you are asking...but I would say no.... JP |

I dont think that...what Im saying is that you cannot make our 4wd cars 2wd because the rear wheels are rigidly mounted to the drive axles which are rigidly mounted to the rear differential, which is rigidly mounted to the drive shaft which is rigidly mounted to the tranny, which is rigidly mounted to the transfer case which is rigidly mounted to the front differential...ect
the leg bone is connected to the hip bone..know what I mean? I was saying that if you artificially try to do this, it wont work because you cannot just simply "unplug" the system. its a mechanical thing. JP |

Don't do it. Not worth the potential damages

Looks like it is possible, but there are downsides. Why are you trying to do this? The only reason I could think of is you're planning to dyno the car and they only have a 2 wheel dyno. Other than that, there's no point unless you're planning to "drift"... |

False - sports package comes with staggered wheels and different tire sizes from the factory.
