I second Aria. If you have the $$$, stay in one of their SkySuites. Works GREAT if you bring a group. The perks that come with those suites are ridiculous. Free (top shelf) liquor (grey goose, johnny walker, etc.) every evening, free limo transport to/fro the hotel to the airport, the suites are amazing, can't say enough. Casino can get a bit pricey if you play the poker tournaments, but they're not that bad.

What are you looking to do in Vegas? Drink? Gamble? Lose yourself? Get some STDs?

Bring Cash, as all the good CLUBS that open after 11, are $$$. That said, look at Quickbook for Rooms, lux is Aria, Cosmopolitan, Venetian, Wynn, Bellagio. Good pool scenes, Hard Rock, MGM, Mandalay Bay. Avoid Monte Carlo/Planet HW, Mirage/Treasure Island. Ceasears can be good.
MGM most bang for buck, youn and fun, with Hard Rock a anything goes crowd..

I think most strop clubs there a rip off, lots of pros and pressure to VIP etc, more low key ones are way to go, not so many fake women. Taxi's arent cheap, $15 to get down to opposite end of strip...

Stay at the Cosmopolitan, its the newest hotel there. The buffet there is epic. Then go to Marquee there. But you need girls, or they wont let you in. Then go to XS.

Super touristy but also badass - I once did a helicopter tour (there are a few places right on the strip) where we flew around vegas then trucked it to the grand canyon and flew around inside. It was amazing but not cheap (like 400 a person I think). Pretty solid activity before drinking/strippers/gambling/drinking/hookers.

Such an opened ended ?

too hard to sum up w/o writing a book

Cliffs:
Take lots of cash
Bring your own booze if you are driving ( dont drive like an idiot either, get there safe...there are some spots where you can "safely" hit 100mph on the 15 )
Have an open mind..there are LOTS of things to do and bars/clubs in all the major spots..

you just have to go there and experience it for yourself....

if you want to get into the high-end clubs like others mentioned..find some chicks also trying to get in and ask them if they woudl like to join you in getting in, then use them as a bargaining chip to the bouncers ( youll see what I mean when you get there)

women EVERYWHERE and from EVERYWHERE its awesome

vegas.com is a good resource for what/where questions....

my personal favs are
MGM
Cesars
P/H
Hardrock ( off the strip tho)
Wynn (XS)
Venetian (TAO)

g/l and come back in 1 piece

if you guys are gonna go clubbing, make sure you pregame hard so that you dont spend $100+ in drinks inside.. try to go club hoping and just have fun

try to stay in a hotel in the middle of the strip that way you dont have to drive or take taxis

TAO sucks balls and i suggest not stepping foot in there.

Also, stay at the hotel that has the club you most want to go to. Usually gets you a free pass in.

Not exactly sure what you are looking to do, but for clubs, XS (Encore) is the best club in my opinion, although Marquee (Cosmpolitan) is very popular right now because it is the newest. Surrender (Encore) is also a good spot, although it depends on the weather since most of the space is outside in the pool area. If you are looking for bottle service and a table, you will need to get in touch with a host to make a reservation. You can contact the appropriate hotel concierge and they can help put you in touch with one. If you do not make a table reservation, try to get in line EARLY, as in before 10pm. It helps to bring girls with you.

+10000000 to this. We stayed there a week ago and it was sick. Went to Marquee Saturday night to see Kaskade and it was sick. At first we werent going to get let in because it was just me and 4 of my guy friends. Then they offered us a table, which is normal. But they only had a $5k minimum that night so we said F***! that! From there we decided to ask a group of like $10 chicks if they'd go in with us and we'd pay their $10 cover. That worked.
