TL, I have a 08 335xi coupe like yours. I want to change my stock 17" rims/runflats to 19" CS7 rims/all season non-runflats.
I noticed the the overall diameter of the wheel will increase from 25" to 25.5" and I do not plan on lowering the car. Tire size from 225/45/17 to 235/35/19. Will this half inch be noticeable and how will this affect the car in any way, such as body roll? I know the speedometer will be off about 2 mph. Are you happy with this wheel? What is the difference in overall ride? Will it be stiffer or harsher over bumps/potholes or will it be same or smoother since I am swapping out the run flats? I am currently using the contiprocontact SSRs now and the it is jarring if you hit a small pothole. Thanks! |
