REVIEW: Active autowerk flash tune

Okay, so I got my 07' e92 328xi flashed yesterday with the AA "stage 2" tune... It's not really a "stage 2" as people call it, it's just a revision with the bugs taken out.. But anyways, I took my car to Turner Motorsport in Amesbury MA (amazing place, very pricey but very nice)

Installation:
It took 3 hours for them to install it, they did it In 3 steps I believe-
1. Sending my ECU software via email to AA

2. Getting the ECU software back via email flashed by AA

3. Putting it back in the car (starting it up, checking it over, blah blah blah)

But yea, after a little under 3 hours the flash was finished and they took my car for a drive to make sure it was running correctly, and it was.

So this is the part where I'm driving it:
Okay so I immediately felt my throttle response in D sharpen, it felt like being in DS (for those who drive A/T) you didn't have to wait for that obnoxious pause.. So that's a plus!

Now it takes 50-100 miles for the tune to fully adapt. (Let me make clear that Amesbury is no where close to my house in MA.. So the drive home was perfect for this)

when I got back to my city I decided to take my car to the gas station and fill, of course now that you have the tune, you have to use 91-93 octane, but that's fine with me because the AA tune is supposed to improve MPG lol.. I didn't see a difference but I didn't pay much attention to it...

So driving after the tune has completely adapted to the car:
This is where it makes me smile a little bit because my car wasn't giving me the pull I wanted or the throttle response.. The AA tune gave me a hard pull in normal drive and an insane pull in Sport.. In Manuel mode, the car is very responsive, very quick and again pulls hard.

So would I recommend this tune? we'll it all depends on what you're looking for and what you're looking to spend, so far I love the tune, it gave me what i wanted and I don't mind the price because I had a little extra coin to spend

So you can feel the HP gains? or just the throtle response? I'm about to pull the trigger on this flash but i'm still not sure yet.

You can feel a very noticeable power increase in the mid and high RPM range. Don't expect to feel a turbo rush but you can very much feel power gains.

You were supposed to be using 91 octane BEFORE the tune too, according to BMW.

You've trolled and trolled all over these forums. I'm not sure how much credibility I or anyone else will give you.

What are you insinuating?

My post was directed at the OP, not at the AA tune, which, in my opinion, is still far less than stellar as claimed by what you're referring to as "much like others on this forum." I'm entitled to my opinion, so don't desecrate me as blasphemous. You guys have some great stuff for the BMW community and are, of course, looking out for us since you've put the R&D into our platform, but don't downplay your customers.

I don't believe I discredited your opinion in anyway in my previous post. I do however appreciate the time he spent reviewing our product regardless of his actions outside of this thread true or not.

I feel the HP gain in the high RPMs and the throttle response definitely! I recommend it

Because my review on the AA tune wasn't well received since it wasn't a fully positive one. I had some people coming into my thread calling BS on my experience.

People on this forum get so offended when you talk bad about AA....I'd hate to see what happens if you talk smack about LTBMW; seems like people worship that place or something. I don't get it

I'm confused as to why turner ms would do an AA tune when they have their own software? Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper for TM to use their software. Did they have to pull the ecu out or did they go through the obd port? Also how much did it cost?
