Rims Wheels - Euro Klasse BMR3
I have a few questions regarding these rims and the setup.
I really should have asked before hand, but I guess its better late than never. My Car: 2006 BMW 325i Sedan (non-sport package) Currently on stock 16'' Alloy Stock tires Turanza RFT Tires are done, and need replacing. 1. Can anyone confirm if the design is a replica of one of the many BMW Style Rims? I took a look myself, but I cant confirm. I think they are either style 133 or style 145. http://www.ykwmotorsports.com/EURO_BMR3.html 2. Does anyone know the weight of one these rims? Size: 17x8 Bolt: 5x120 ET: 35 3. I ordered a set of four of these rims (square setup) and I am not sure if they will now "fit" correctly. I know my OEM rims are offset (ET) 34 and not (ET) 35. Will the rims/wheels stick out? Or will they install flush without any rings/spacers etc? 4. Tires for these rims: Continental Extreme DW 225/45/17 Will they fit perfect? 5. Will this setup affect my performance/handling? Any help appreciated. Thank you. |

They will fit a little more aggressively than your stock rims because they are 1" wider. A change in offset of 1 mm is unnoticeable otherwise.
Really hard to say how heavy those rims are. They are low pressure cast, so they will be lighter than gravity cast. Maybe in the 20-21 lb. range for a 17" wheel. They look like a replica of the M3 competition package wheels. |

Awesome.
Thanks for the replies guys. I have emailed the manufacture about the "weight" question. Let's see if they even respond As long as they are not "heavier" than the stock rims, (my stock rims are 24lbs I think), then it should be ok and not negatively affect the cars performance too much? Anyone else want to chime in? Thanks. |

They will respond. But it may take about 1 week.

Hey Duaux, did you get your rims yet? I purchased what I was told were BMR-4 wheels and they look exactly like the picture. When I look at the rims they do not say "BMR" or "Euro Klass" anywhere on them. I'm trying to figure out whether I bought the real thing or a copy. Did your wheels come with any markings on them?

blacksaph: I got the rims and my new tires. I love em!!! =)
I will take a look at them after work and update later tonight/tomorrow. My new setup: BMR-3 17'' Continental Extreme Contact DW Will most likely have to take them off soon as winter is around the corner. I have a set of new General Altimax Artic's ready to be mounted on my BMW OEM Alloys. |

yeah that's what I figured. Thanks for checking.
I spoke to another buddy of mine and he said most of these replica wheels are all produced by a few big factories in Asia so you never really know where they are manufactured. They are then sold to lots of different distributors under various brand names. |
