i love my 2011 128i M Package, but i was just wondering, because i really want the bmw navi and cold weather package since i moved from Miami to NYC.
You can get one anytime you want. Just go in tell them you no longer want this 2011 and you want a 2013 and money is not an object. Im sure they will "work " with you.

Everday I check out the forums it seems like there is a new problem with these cars. I just picked up my 135i a month ago and already feeling like I should get rid of it...smh!

The connector for the positive battery cable connector and the corresponding terminal on the fuse box may degrade over time. Over time, the high current flow and heat from electrical resistance may lead to a breakage of the connection, and a loss of electrical power to the vehicle.

CONSEQUENCE:
If there is a loss of electrical power to the vehicle, the vehicle may unexpectedly stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

REMEDY:
BMW will notify owners, and dealers will replace the positive battery cable connector and secure it with an improved method, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in March 2013. Owners may call BMW at 1-800-525-7417 or email BMW at CustomerRelations@bmwusa.com.

NOTES:
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Is this recall meant for all BMW cats, US, and Euro specs. Or for only US?

You don't think other manufacturer enthusiast forums have daily threads about issues? Recalls?

I KNOW they don't, they may have an issue here & there but nothing like this. All I hear about is bad HPFP, water pump, electrical issuse, leaky trunks & sunroofs, iDrive failure, fuel injector issues, ETC.ETC. and the fact that all this happens under 60k miles is laughable. I knew I should've bought that S2K instead.

35k miles of hard driving in my 2011 e90, and so far I've had the rotors replaced. Other than that, it's all been routine maintenance and smooth sailing.

All I hear about is how amazing the car is. You should spend some time in other threads, hydroboy. You find what you seek.

I didn't "seek" anything, it was on the front page lol. The truth is bmw has bad quality but ppl like them so they deal with it. Well, most ppl anyway.

The truth is BMW's are great quality, but also get driven very hard by sports fanatics and are often modded to within an inch of their lives.
Those are exactly the sort of people who frequent these threads most often.

There's some truth to that, and there's also some truth to the assertion that BMWs are somewhat finicky and prone to problems.

Unfortunately, I've yet to find a car that is as fun to drive as a BMW 335i that isn't finicky and prone to problems. If it existed, I would have bought it Sadly, Camrys are still boring.

If you go in for one recall they'll let you know of others (if they still need to be done) and they'll do them.

I went in for a problem much like this last year and had to pay ~$2000 out of pocket. At the same time they replaced a few injectors and the HPFP (because there was a recall out). I also got refunded $1000 from when i had to have 3 injectors replaced before that recall.

I'm hoping I can get refunded for the electrical battery cable issue i payed out of pocket for

It may SEEM like these cars are complete piles of crap, because you're reading information on the internet. 90% of the internet is complaints. 9% is porn. 1% is real information. You're on a bulletin board for a specific type of car, people will come here to complain.

Sure these cars have some problems, but all cars do. Everyone thought Toyota was the almighty symbol of quality, until they started having unintended acceleration issues and other recalls a few years ago...

BMW is fixing the problem. Wait for your letter. If you can't wait for your letter for some reason, call BMW. I'm sure they'll tell you to wait for your letter.

You had to replace the rotors at 35k?? My front rotors are at 75k and I am just about to have them replaced in 5k.. Did you hit a puddle and warp them or something?

Id say a range of years on the 335i is crap.. Go to honda forums and see how many 7k repairs their cars have if any. People buy those cars and change their oil twice in 5 years.

I have no idea. The rear rotors warped, not the fronts, which seems even stranger to me.

What are the chances I'll be able to get a loaner car while they do this? I just got my cpo e92 like 2 months ago and don't have another car. (Damn girlfriends and their desire for engagement rings)

Just made an appointment with the dealer for repair of a malfunctioning fog lamp on March 1st. I'll inquire about this while I'm at the dealer if no new information has surfaced.

Hit oncoming traffic....

Yeah, that doesn't sound like a situation you'd have any luck with. I'm rarely an advocate for filing suit, but that's just awful. Glad you're ok
