Slow/laggy controls on professional stereo
Hi recently got my 2011 328i E90 and I've noticed that the steering wheel and stereo controls have a very long response time when using my iPod and iPhone in the armrest.
I've tried the BMW y-split cable and Apple's white USB cable and both have the factory installed iPod adapter and no iDrive.

I don't think the delay is from the buttons
I think it's the iPod I'm using a SSD drive and the delay is much less than my iPod

I tested it with different iPod and m iPhone but they were all slow. I'm going to take it to BMW Monday to get it checked out because there is another problem anyways.

They will tell you nothing is wrong. It's not the iPod, it's BMW's piss poor implementation of the iPod interface. I used the same iPod with my old car, USB interface, and it was about 5x faster.
