This color looks different in every light and every photo. On an X3 it looks very dark and purplish. The color looks great in many of these photos so I am hoping I will like it when I get my car sometime in the next two weeks.

Nice Peter, glad you are liking the car. Thanks again for a quick and easy lease assumption. I hope you continue to have fun with the car for quite some time.
btw, If you look back quite some time in this thread, you'll find the pictures of this car I posted shortly after I ordered it and put the wheels on.
I might even have the pictures posted of when I had the Morr Alloy wheels put on it, before I put on your VMR M3 reps.

^^ Hi Michael everything with the car is working great! I was actually about to ask you what the stock wheels were... so I can source them for the eventual return. Hope all's well... lots of ashes in your neighborhood I hear.

They are the standard 5 spoke 18" Sport Package wheels with the runflat tires.
Not too much ash here, we had a bit of it in the first couple days of the "Station" fire and Tujunga fire. But nothing like when the Sylmar and Porter Ranch fires of last summer. Those were really close and we had black ash all over (like a light snow but black) LOL
All these fukin arsonists, those losers should have their clothes set on fire while they are wearing them. If they like fire so much why not give it to them. See how they like it after 10-15 seconds of it up close and personal.
Cheers Peter.

Sorry to take this picture post OT. Back on topic.

Garage List
Military gate guards must have a weakness for Montego Blue. I've driven onto three different installations in my car and a gate guard at each installation has commented on how much they like the color. Coming to work this week, on two of the last three days the gate guards have been particularly enamoured with my car. It might be the color that MB looks at dusk, as MB takes on a different color as it is getting dark.

Anyways, just thought i'd mention that others have been telling me how much they like MB this week. Glad I chose it.

I will also share my pics here for future buyers as I also have used this thread to decide on the color combo
Montego with Saddle.

I've got a 335d SE A coupe with those standard 5 spoke 230 wheels. I'm getting a M Sport Aero kit put on it. Will it be the only Montego blue 335d coupe that looks like an M Sport with 230 wheels in the UK?
