I had a loaner with a sunshade and it was pretty awesome. One of those things you don't realize you need until you use it. Is there a retrofit? Lol

If anyone's ac in the colony area needs a recharge, I have one of those ac refil gauge / filler things from autozone. My truck needs like two or three cans every year. I know there is a leak but I'm too lazy to fix it.

Just moved here from Cali as well (ft hood area) heat straight up melted the sealant plastic. Crap on my hood badge. It's a aftermarket one so no biggie. But wtf right!? Not too. Ad out here though. Seen some crazy stupid heat before. 120's in Kuwait

I still think Dallas is worse than Houston. The avg temps are higher throughout the summer and the himidity is close....on avg about 8% difference....not much....Dallas is still humid as hell too....

I wonder if we could cook an egg, if we leave a black car outside for an hour or two, then crack it on there.

I'm tempted to try...

you live in Las Colinas - they don't know what humidity is.

you know you're in Houston when you walk out to your car in the morning and you sweat walking to it.

Randomly, I miss living in Las Colinas...Lived there for almost 8 years.
+1 on Houston, you can feel it driving into that place.

I wouldn't cook an egg on the car, that stuff will eat your paint.

first one is Houston - second one is Dallas.

be happy where you are HAHA !!!!

see how the humidty adds to the overall "feel" ??

it's like taking a shit and then having someone take your shit right back through your asshole, intestine and digestive track right out of your mouth - and then making you eat it again...

THATS how hot it is.....

Speaking of the heat... I have yet to upgrade the IC. Any of you guys out there notice a big difference? I mean, with 95*+ ambient, what temps would I realistically be seeing? BTW, I am spraying meth, which is why I havent felt the need to do the IC yet, but damn have I been feeling a little sluggish...

here in Houston, it's rained for the 10th day in a row - floods everywhere.

.........and it's STILL hitting over 100 heat index.

lastly, add mosquitos that could start on some defensive lines in the NFL.

Yeah, I updated to an ETS 5" and immediately felt the difference, especially in the summer months. It's a combination of a more efficient core, no 90-degree angles on the piping, metal end tanks, and no "rippled" connectors. Definitely recommended.

Welcome to southern hospitality... at this this summer, it's been pretty wet down here. We haven't seen much of the sun for the past few weeks... been rain, overcast, and all. Of course today, it's starting to feel like a sauna outside.

^Yeah, isn't that why they built the "underground" in Downtown Houston? I used to work there and in the warmer months it was not even worth trying to walk 2 blocks outside - but in the tunnels there were all sorts of restaurants, shops, and open areas where you could sit and people-watch, etc. Air-conditioned, too, and you could walk a few miles without breaking a sweat. Out on the pavement, you couldn't walk 10 feet without diaphoresis setting in.

I've lived in Dallas for 18 years, 4 years in Austin, and Houston for 5 years. Houston's humidity is 100x worse than Dallas' humidity and 200x worse than Austin.

Sure there are days when Dallas gets bad, but it's an everyday thing in Houston.
