N52 325XI SEDAN ....FINALLY GOT THE SOUND I WANTED ...DID A MFD AND RESONATOR DELETE..DAM ITS LOUD LOL ..but i got that growl/popping sound..sounding like i have a v8 motor..lol lets how long i can tollerate this noise...might have to put back my resonator but keep my double pipes hopefully i get the same sound

I've heard muffler and res deletes in person and they are really loud lol. I can hear them from so far away hahaha. Nice sound but I don't think I could handle the loudness all the time. Currently I have a muffler delete and it's drone/loudness is very tolerable.

I have my cats and res out with a magnaflow. The drone is the worst part but I get tons of those pops and gurgles when I downshift in DS mode. To be honest, if I had a 300hp car I might consider just toning the sound down but keeping it. With a 2.5l n52 it is just too much bark and no bite.

Has anyone tried a magna flow muffler with a secondary cat delete while keeping the resonator? I already have a magna flow muffler and I've been seriously considering deleting the secondary cats. If anyone who has heard or has this setup could weigh in about drone/volume that would be great!

I modified my previous car's exhaust with magna flow as well. While at first it was too loud for my liking, after replacing the resonator it was perfect. This car only had one cat from the factory so I don't have any experience with secondaries.

1ST Set Up Being Muffler Delete With My Stock Resonator --- It Was Droney And Not Enough Gargling And Popping I Wanted...

2nd Set Up Was----muffler Delete And I Deleted My Resonator With The Dual Pipings..gadamm That Shit Was Loud..but I Loved The Popping And Gargling Everytime U Let Go Of The Gas....but It Was Way Too Loud..

3rd Set Up Was A The Lucky Charm ---- Put On Aftermarket Resonator W/ 2.5" Piping ....dam This Sounds Perfect To Me...its Got The Gargle And Pop Everytime Time I Shift And Downshift And Let Go Of The Gas...sounds Like Alot Beefier Bmw Pe With Tone..more Aggressive I Should Say..

at first i went with maganaflow...but when they started up my car..didnt' like it..too quite and i ddidn't get any of those i mentioned.....but when they put a smaller hi flo resonator in ..i got the bmw PE sound effect but alot ALOT beefier sound ...and i get alot of pops and gargling

I want to say that's how mine sounds with the vibrant resonator I put in but come to think of it I never heard my car from the outside
