JB4 Detectable??? Going in for Service
Hello Everyone I will be taking my 335i in for service at the local dealer Reeves for the first time. I have JB4 G4 and was going to leave it on Map 0 for the service. The reason for my service is a Transmission leak it's either the gasket, sleeve, cracked pan (which I doubt), or mecatronic device. I have warranty for the car under a 3rd party where the transmission is covered. My question is will they find the JB4?

Imagine for some reason you are fond of using certain illegal substances. Someone breaks into your house and steals your stereo. Now you must go to the police station and file a report. Since you have no reason to expect to be searched, then it is fine to stroll down to the station with your pockets and body cavities full of illegal substances. What could possibly go wrong?

Watch the YouTube video showing the install (a few times if necessary), take your time, make sure you go through all the steps. After you do it 1-2 times, you'll get comfortable with everything + it'll become 2nd nature

just remember EXACTLY how you put it together, take care not to force anything where you can bend/break a pin.. and dont pull to harsh on any wire harness you will be fine. Take your time and before long and a few more install//uninstall you will be able to pop it on and off in 30 min.

that the DCI wasn't stock I don't think it was a big deal since they performed the work...but for next time I will just put in the original intake
