CPO warranty expires

I have a 10 328i drive with CPO warranty, it is going to expire next month, bema fixed the valve lifters under warranty in 2015. So here is my question, lately the engine has the same kind of ticking noise, it doesn't sound smooth at all, i am not sure if its the cold weather which causes these noises.

1. I want to have a full check up and see if they discover any problem that i haven't discovered yet, but would that be a waste of money? Bema is charging $150 labour per hour, and what would they look at?

2. Is there any e90 recall***? i read there is a battery cable recall, and i assume mine has never been replaced with the new one. If so, how can i ask the dealer to fix it?

3.Any suggestion what i should look into before the warranty expires?

What the mileage on the car?

More than likely have them scan the car for any fault codes. Make sure explain all the weirdness/ abnormalities to SA so they should look into.

I'm not too verse in warranties with BMW, but why are you paying for labor if it's a CPO??

I see.. Well you are pretty much in the lower ranges where things don't really go wrong..

Only thing I can think of is to have a look around the engine for any oil leaks or any leaks for that matter. VCG, OFHG. Belt squeaks the whole nine yards.
