I would check your alignment again. I heard it is best to wait a week before getting the alignment as the springs are still settling.

Make sure and keep us posted on the status of the possibility for actual xi springs from Eibach. I'm looking to order one set or the other in the months to come

hehe..fair enough. I was shocked to see how messed my alignment was in the back before getting it corrected
I am not too worried about my camber, as it is normal for wheels to go in when lowered on stock shocks. |

Yeh non rft's would definately take out some of the harshness...though I do enjoy the peace of mind of having rft's so its a tradeoff.
I updated my post above with Before and After pics |

its now day 4 of the drop with Eiback " i " springs....so far so good, alignment is still intact, haven't seen any further settling yet, and ride quality is still ok. I find that the feeling inside the car when going over dips in the road are multiplied 3x with these springs lol...outside of that, the ride is the same as stock. For lowering springs on OEM non-sport struts, these are performing and riding relatively better than I expected.

IU328xi, could you get your shocks replaced yet? If so, how is the ride quality?
I cant wait to get rid of the floaty feeling of my car, but i cant decide if I should go with these springs or spend more for coilovers :/ btw- i have e92 328xi |

As for choosing between springs and coilover, i recommend you ponder whether you want to go real low or have the convenience of adjusting your suspension height and stiffness. If you want all these, go with coilover, but if you know the drop from a lowering spring is enough, then go for it because the ride quality is great. Don't rush into making a decision because if you're unsatisfied with springs and decided to go with coilovers in the future, you're gonna waste more money just like what i did with my Lexus |

However, I really want to get rid of the floaty SUV feeling, when changing lanes, or going through bumps.. I feel like I cant control this car sometimes, it bounces all around, it doesn't hug the road like sport cars. I'm never going to track, probably won't bother adjusting the height setup as well. I just want to know if "a little stiffer than stock" means it eliminates this SUV feeling. If it is, then these springs are what I'm looking for with a good price! |

Well, as i said earlier, the springs are not very stiff but it certainly does it job in reducing that floaty feeling. Just go for it

These lowering springs are awesome. I too hated the whole floaty feeling when doing turns and going over bumps.
After installing the springs (I went with H&R, but they are very similar to the eibach), the handling was awesome. The car really felt planted to the road when doing sharp turns and overall is a very impressive mod. One thing I may add is that on harder bumps, you may notice a light "bouncy" feeling due to using sport springs on stock shocks. But if you look at the big picture, the handling improvements really out way the small cons when having springs. |
