Modded 335i to look like m3
I was wondering if anyone on this forum get trash talked about them having a 335i that looks just like an m3? Same body kit, fenders all of it!

I have an M3 hood, CSL trunk, and M6 wheels. Getting an M3 front bumper later this month, too. I really give zero f#cks if people "talk trash" about my choice of mods, though no one has done so to my face.
I have been asked on occasion if my car is an M3 (usually by people who don't know the brand very well and just make assumptions since I am debadged) but so far they have all been impressed to find out it is "only" a modded 335.

There are some members who did this kind of conversion. Those who like cosmetic appearance...appreacite the conversion, but those who are into performance doesn't. But in the end, think about what will make you happy & not others.

If people want to make their cars look like M3's then let them. I don't have a single M badged thing on my car. It's not an M, I'm dealing with it.
Personally, I don't care about what others do to their cars, I'm not paying for them.

I like the look of the M3 more than the generic E92, but it was out of my budget range when I bought my 335. I added M3 side skirts to my car because I think the more aggressive lines look cooler.
I don't personally care what others do with their cars. I happen to prefer the M3 look, but I am not doing a full conversion or anything. I'll just buy an M3 next time I'm trading in |

think cosmetic is all fine until they start putting m badges on, pretty sure thats the consensus.. that white 335 in the link was orgasmic..

there's a guy on here who's done the whole conversion
but i figure, if you're gonna spend that much money on making your car look like an m3, why not just put that money towards one instead?

There's a guy who did a full m3 conversion, on a 325i...
What a total waste of money on a pathetically slow model. I don't agree with all these people trying to make there 3 series look like a m3. As mentioned why spend all that money to turn it into a m3 body when that money can go towards one. And second of all, even if you did spend all that money on the body, you still are left with the twin turbo engine, not a NA v8 master piece. Not to mention the m3 diff, brakes, suspension, power button. Put your pennies in a jar and save up because a 335i will never be a m3, faster maybe yes with RBs and full fbo and meth but not better IMO. And I have a 335i ... |

I have an Msport shift knob and boot and soon enough, m3 side skirts..and maybe an m3 front in the future...
Just do whatever you think makes your car look beast, don't worry about what people have to say.
