E92 front end Conversion for e90
Looking for some help.
Does anyone know from personal experience how the length of the e92 hood compare to the length of e90 hood vs the length of M3 sedan... I am looking for different ways to mix and match OEM parts to create an e92/M3 front end on my E90. Any info or link with body panel dimensions would help. I have searched plenty of times and found either really old threads of LTBMW conversion(preM3) or lci conversion threads none of which are given me the info that I am looking for... Thanks Last edited by Japsfinest; 12-02-2012 at 06:23 PM.. Reason: type-o |

I would just get OEM M3 E90 parts to do your conversion. Once you replace the radiator support, all the dimensions will work out fine. Just make sure to change the fenders, sideskirts, and windshield wiper fluid container. You will need E92 headlights or E90 M3 headlights (they are basically the same) and new headlight brackets. There are several other odds and ends, but you get the point.
Don't bother trying to do E92 conversion...you will need custom parts here for sure and the cost will be the same in the end. Trust me.

I didnt want the m3 vents on the fenders as my car is not an M3 however eveything else I can deal with. You bring up a point I had not considered which is the sideskirts. |

Good luck. Oh, btw...if I remember correctly--there is no issue with length going from E90 hood to E92 hood. As long as all the other parts are swapped--headlights, bumper, grill it will fit just fine. The issue for you is what fenders will you use? Has to be custom.
