Thoughts/Advice for wheels and tires

Okay, so I know this is an E90 forum, and I have one of those - but just acquired an X5 with M-Sport package, and I have some questions about tires and wheels.

The sizes are: Front - 255/50/19; Rear - 285/45/19

The tires are Conti Contact SSR OEMs and I believe they are summer tires. So, I've not been able to find an all season alternate in the size that are RFT's. My next thought was to try and find an affordable set of non-staggered wheels and put all seasons on them (not winter, I'd like better useful life). Was thinking 18" - maybe the wheel/tire setup that comes standard on the X5 without M-Sport. Hoping to do this in a budget friendly way... and would consider looking for used wheels (if they are good).

Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?

Going to 18" would be no problem on this one, just be sure to use 255/55R18. Top choices in that size would be the Dunlop Sport Signature, Pirelli Scorpion Verde A/S, and Michelin Latitude touring.

Thanks Gary. I've purchased Michelin's from Tire Rack in the past, and was very satisfied.
