Talking JB4 installed in 08 535i - holy moly!

I finally installed the JB4 in my 2008 535i and all I can say is WOW! The car was quick stock, but man she wants to run all through the power band and in every gear. Getting a feel for it and jumping on the gas a bit had the traction control kicking in to keep the tires from breaking out on a straight run when either shifting or hitting the throttle after leveling off. Quick highway run tonight was awesome. 75/80 mph, 6th gear, hit the gas and the car pulls very nicely and quickly climbs.

Very easy to install (quick issue last night on first attempt due to my connectors being colored differently), I can drop this thing in and out within 10 minutes of popping the hood. Amazing power from the first minute it's in.

Welcome to all that BMW left off the table!

I came from the JB3 which I loved and was not really thrilled with the JB4, but I think that was due to my turbos having loose wastegates. Now with new turbos and the new firmware for the JB4 I am loving the smoothness of the power. Couldn't be happier.

As one poster stated, definitely log some runs to make sure everything is looking good.
