That is the SAME trim as the IS, just without the IS badge. I can confirm, as I have an IS with that trim

Incorrect.

The iS has dark glacier silver trim with the iS badge. This is the light aka aluminum Glacier Silver trim.

Haha, I will post a picture when I get home. You don't even have an IS how can you confirm? The shade is exactly the same, unless my work monitor settings are off. Looks just like your first pic

How can I confirm? Because one look at my friend's 335iS shows the difference.

European and Canadian MSport E92s were optioned with the lighter shade of Glacier Silver. This was not available in the U.S. The same applies for the E82 1 series. All North American 335iS have the darker version of this style trim kit.

Finally, if you've no interest in buying this, please refrain from spreading misinformation in my for sale thread. Thanks.

They are indeed different colors. I have an ashtray cover that doesn't match my glacier trim to prove it unfortunately.

hahaha that was a good laugh. On the other hand didn't know silver-glacier was only offered in Canada/EU. Makes me appreciate my silver glacier trim even more now haha.

Free bump!

Sometimes it's better to let everyone assume you're a fool, than open your mouth and remove all doubt.

What are you like the BMW god now? At least I'm man enough to not deny the fact that I was wrong. After all, I'm in the US, not in Canada like you, where we do not even get to see the lighter version of the trim. But your cockiness, think you know it all attitude really shines through your posts. I mean come on, I had to make a follow up comment since it seems like you got more butthurt about the posts I made than me being wrong
