What do you guys use to wipe this stuff?
I'm using a MF towel and it's leaving spots all over my car.

so far not impressed with this product at all.

I had to use water to wash/wipe all the spots off. Which made it worse off then before applying it.

Maybe it works better in the summer?

It doesn't work better in the summer or winter, it's just a little hard to apply correctly the first time until you get the hang of it. It isn't a "spray and spread" product like armor all; more of a spray, then buff until dry product. So try this:

Shake the bottle, then spray a small amount on your dash; immediately use a soft, clean mf cloth and buff the surface; not hard but enough that you spread the product *and* dry it. It should leave a nice even matte finish. If it doesn't try shaking it really well and give it another go. The issue is if you let it air dry at all it will leave a slightly more "dark" finish in those areas, thus the streaking and spotting.

Ya, it's kind of "meh" to use, even I still curse it sometimes, but it really does offer awesome UV protection. If it *really* pisses you off you can try the suggestion above and get some Megs Vinyl/Rubber (#40), or even Megs Quick Interior Detailer, both have less UV protection but are much easier to use.

(FWIW, 303 even works on plastic and glass if applied the same way (spray on, buff off); once you get the hang of it on plastic give it a shot).

at the dealership we use it on the plastic exterior panels such, the rubber seals around the doors and shadowline trim among other things. It works really well once you get the hang of it and it looks great.

Bringing up an old thread because I'm wondering what you think of the 303 now that you have it, Ninjaneer. Also, treublue - has your opinion changed?

I am thinking of getting some 303 for my dash and interior trim. Since my car is parked outside a lot, I want some UV protection on the dash plastics. I don't want to bother with Meguiars quick interior detail if the 303 provides better results. At the same time, if it is way too finicky in application, I'll skip it.

Sadly I honestly didn't get around to it yet. We had the meet recently so I focused on the exterior, and since then I've been busy with studies - end of the semester finals, assignments etc.

I'll try it out this Fri./Sat. and get back to you

BK, terribly sorry. I know better now not to give a date at the end of the year haha... vacation / family, wrapped up my semester too.

Very good, thanks! I plan to get some myself. I just finished doing an interior cleaning about 30 minutes ago and I'm a little beat. I used the Meguiars quick interior detail spray to wipe things down, and I like it but wanted to give the 303 a try, too. Good to know it's not too difficult and not too shiny.

I have a handful of old clean white socks. I place one on my hand and lightly spritz the sock. I don't use a lot of 303 to soak my hand/sock. I then wipe it all over my interior - refreshing with short spritzes as I go along. I haven't experienced any uneven application issues but if I did I would probably just rewipe to even it out. I have found it takes less to maintain the sheen with biweekly applications. It seems to last longer with thin "refreshenings" every couple of car washes. I love the look that's maintained - new looking, not artificially glossy.

You can get it at most places that sell detailing stuff.

Don't sweat it, I still get little blotches with it sometimes too.

Very interesting. I just finish reading the 303 product info on their website. This products can also be used on painted surface. They mentioned using it on plastic but they also said that you can use it on car paint surface to give it that wet look. They tell you the steps on how to do it. Anyone tried this on your paint surface?
