I need to do this soon I think, so from what I've read you pull all the sealant out of the arch, then fold it flat with heat and a roller.
Just don't want to at all pull the arch, has to look OEM from the outside! |

Best thing to do is jack her up and check to see where the arch is catching/rubbing. Mine was rubbing quite bad on the back of the arch nearest the bumper. After my recent visit to centre gravity to get a full geo setup done, Pete there just just a bar against the tyre to just push it back and sorted. The inside of the arch is quite pliable and only needs to be tucked back usually and then it doesn't effect the outside appearance.

My E36 rear arches were rolled by Arch enemy. Cost about £100 from what I remember.
That included scraping out all the muck that was in the lip then cleaning it, then rolling and sealing it up afterwards.

Might pick out the sealant stuff before hand to save some time though, and the place I'm testing spacers has a roller so can use that, then whack some sealant back in/over the fold. |

If you are trying to go as wide as poss then yeah definitely need them properly rolled. I've got my 313's with a 10mm spacer and was rubbing so just wanted that sorted to keep the stance as is.

You need to know the existing wheel specs then use something like willtheyfit.com to gauge where the new wheel will sit compared to the existing. Can play with offsets too then.

I had rubbing issues with 10" on the rear, with 275.
Looked on ebay for arch roller, found a local chap selling for £30 quid 😀 u can pick them up new for about £40 new now. Easy job, just dont rush and keep the heat applied (heat gun) Plenty of videos on youtube to help out.

I'm not changing wheels just adding spacers. It's what I'd do but as I have the luxury of trying on various size spacers I'll do that instead, with an educated guess as my starting point.
