Fiber optic connection in driver's footwell?
As I was working on installing some additional interior glow lighting today, I removed the driver's side footwell upper panel. When I was putting it back in place this square bit poped down and connected to it were two thick black cables and from their ends a red light... so I'm assuming it's a fiber optic connection. Anyone know what the hell it is and/or it's for? I've marked it's location above. Sorry I didn't think to take a picture of what I'm talking about, but hopefully people know about this already.
