Can someone tell me what this symbol means

Check engine light isn't on it's i went through the service info without starting it up.

Anyways just looking at what i should plan for cost wise this is next according to my car anybody know what it means? It can't be smog can it? E90 is an early 07.

i've heard air filter to radiator to other things. Anyone know for sure what it is.

Unfortunately the fan has punctured your radiator, it happens. Probably 3-4k in repairs at the dealer. Engine needs to be pulled, the transgasket differential has to be replaced too.

Wow! Holy crap wasn't expecting that at all. Wouldn't the car over heat a lot though if that was the case? My car hasn't over heated once ever. The only real issues I've had was crank sensor and tranission filter/gasket due to a leak.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
