Hi All, I purchased a 2008 E93 a while ago and I noticed in my model it doesn't have an ancor point to mount a baby seat, does anyone know if an ancor point can be installed. I did noticed it does have 2 ancor point for euro baby seat down the bottom, does anyone know how I can fix this little issue.

I am pretty sure it is there.
You need to lift or retract the hood/roof up part way and it is under the black cover that lifts up behind the back seat.
I might be confused with my old E46, but I reckon I did get a baby seat in the E93 once.

I know the e93 prior to 2008 had the point behind the seat but when i look on the 08 models it doesn't have it now. I wonder if i could get it fitted. Rang up Bmw and they have no idea about the anchor point.

The 1 series has it on the seat back, there is a split in the leather just below the headrest, maybe your e93 is the same???

mines a 2008 and is exactly how you described it. split in the leather below the rear headrests..

I had a look at the slipt in the seat and no ancor point, I know that the earlier e93 had the anchor point but for some reason I don't have any. I'll take a pic on show you.

i thought it was an adr requirement to have a baby seat anchor point
