Carl
Yes i did but i have attributed it to a bad batch of fuel. I have used BP ultimate ever since (last 5k) from the same fuel station and it feels as strong as it ever been.

Not RR'd but its a quick on the move as my mate's Boxter. Im even concidering putting the 320d badge back on so to see people faces.

or had it roaded?

what happens if your turbo's or box lets go?? do CAA cover the cost if bmw dont?

i have heard DMS do thats the only reason i would consider them over CAA!

have you noticed any excess smoke since the re-map?

also does it de-activate the 155mph limiter/guvenor for the diesel?

carl

Carl im guesstimating on the fact that my car is as fast as my mates CSL so seeing as his pops out 355-360BHP mine cant be that far behind.

I would suck my self off on live TV if DMS ever back there warranty. As OliH says rubbish!! (from a cynical business perspective)

There is absolutley no smoke whatsoever.

Ill find out about the limiter when i go to the ring via autobahn

Keep this in mind there is only one perfect remap, the right amount of fuel, the correct perameters on the injectors the right torque in each gear etc etc, so i would pressume all the best remappers are probbably using the same maps. I sing CAAs praises as the service i had from them is first class.

Get them to stick the original BMW map back on then go into your dealer and tell them you are pissed at the declining build quality!

carl
carl you have a habbit of not reading the thread!!

olih said the dms warranty would not be worth the paper its written on my take on it is rubbish.

if something breaks then bmw will fix it they cant read if there is a map there because its emmbedded with bmw codes.

If they can read it then they have to prove its rthe remaps fault as having a remap cannot by law totally cancal ALL the warranty.

and if push comes to shove ill pay for it....im loaded

Steve, I think you win the 2007 award for 'Most entertaining quote of the year", no matter what anyone else says for the rest of the year!

Would be up for group buy or something?

Pretty sure DMS quoted me £512.00 inc vat? That was including discount and taking the car to them.

I've always found Mike at DMS a really decent guy who is always helpfull.
