Hi,

The LUX h8 in my driver side headlight (e92) is beginning to fail. The light goes in and out randomly (may be related to temperature). I tested OEM bulb to rule out it being a problem with my car.

How do i go about getting a warranty replacement? Do you still have the older v2's in stock so i have a matching set?

Hi Christopher,
Our LUX units do have a thermal protection built into the unit so that might be the issue. We have been in a heat wave the last few days so that is mostly likely the cause. The light will shut off shortly to cool down and prevent damage to the lights.

Hi Yall,
I just received my new Lux's 2 days ago. It was kind of a p.i.t.a. to install but I managed to make a little "tool" that reduced my install time drastically to like 20min total. All-in-all I'd say they are DEFINITELY worth it. They're a little washed out under direct sunlight or when looking directly from the top, but at a distance (i.e. normal other drivers) can see them really well. Now the night time............. these are some bright doggies. I highly recommend anyone that's on the edge, on whether to get them or not, to get them. Here are a few pictures I just took with my iPhone cam today. **Also, the camera shows them as a little blue, they are actually bright white, not blue/purplish looking. Also it's literally been raining everyday for the past 2 weeks here in Houston, Tx so the cars a little dirty so that may or may not affect the viewers perception, and the little bird crap on the hood , damn birds lol. But I'll try to take better pictures come the weekend.

It simply means that the eBay vendor stole the Lux name and is touting his product as Lux v3.0, when in reality, they are NOT Lux of any kind - which is evident by the difference in construction and the packaging...

Whether or not eBay fakes are any good or not would have to be determined, but seller is trying to fool people into thinking they are Lux, and riding on the Lux name/quality to sell his product.
