Getting new turbos under CPO warranty for wastegate rattle
2007 335i coupe with 68k miles. Had the accessport installed for about 40k miles. Started getting the horrible wastegate rattling sound. Uninstalled the tune and brought the car into the dealer. They are replacing both turbo's. Glad I brought it in before my CPO warranty is up in November!
Driving an F30 2012 328i loaner car for a few days. Extremely impressed by this car, the new F30 using the turbo engine is ridiculously fast. I would say it has almost as much power as my 5yr old 335i with a stock tune. |
