trouble shoot window washer fuild not working

about 2 weeks ago i noticed my windshield washer fluid wasnt working. at first when i pulled the lever a few squirts came out of each side (drivers and passengers). now nothing comes out. i dont hear any sounds or anything. what is the first thing to check before replacing the pump? of course i added washer fluid and still nothing. also does i looked for a diy on how to change the pump and came up with nothing. if someone has a link to a video that would be great.

its a 2007 328i coupe non i drive

thanks,

liquid

I would check the fuse, on the back of the glove box you will see the fuse box's cover, twist the black knobs and remove the cover.

On the back of the cover is the fuse map.

On the center-left on the fuse panel is the orange fuse puller.

i checked the fuses numbered 39 59 & 63. they all look fine. i think i am going to see if i can disconnect the lines from the water pump and check to see if it will pump. that will tell me if the lines are clogged.

either the pump went out or the strainer is clogged. either way you'll need to removed the pump and check.

BTW the washer bottle sits under the right the front fender well (behind the tire). the fender well has to come out.
