Looking for help regarding lights. What colors are legal and illegal angel eyes and fog lights in Ontario? and how bright?

I think anything other than blue or red would be legal and I don't thing the brightness matters as long as you're not blinding other drivers.

there's probably no strict law on brightness but it obviously shouldnt be blinding other people while youre on the road.

i have HID angels in my car and its bright but not blinding.

Lamps

Lamps required on all motor vehicles except motorcycles

62. (1) When on a highway at any time from one-half hour before sunset to one-half hour after sunrise and at any other time when, due to insufficient light or unfavourable atmospheric conditions, persons and vehicles on the highway are not clearly discernible at a distance of 150 metres or less, every motor vehicle other than a motorcycle shall carry three lighted lamps in a conspicuous position, one on each side of the front of the vehicle which shall display a white or amber light only, and one on the rear of the vehicle which shall display a red light only. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 62 (1).

In terms of brightness...

Strength of front lamps

(9) No motor vehicle shall carry on the front thereof more than four lighted lamps that project a beam having an intensity of over 300 candela. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 62 (9).

I would imagine this would be fairly hard to measure by yourself but if you compare it with other lamps at 300 candela and your headlights are a lot brighter, it wouldn't be hard for a police officer to give you a ticket for that.

It has angle eyes, but it's the original BMW color.
I want to get white ones.
I live in Toronto,
Can anyone help me with where I could find them and how much would it cost?

PM DIMSUM about disabling your day time running lights, then pursue a harness to allow you to run your angel eyes as drl's with a new bulb.
