Any chance someone can help a new member and let me know how to contact Technic regarding buying his harness? Can't believe I need one and just yesterday someone was selling one.

Thanks for the link Foreman. PM'd technic but haven't heard anything back so maybe this one will work out.
If anyone else has one for sale please let me know. I recently decide to replace the logic7 amp in a 750 that I bought in July. I was basically driving around for 3 months without any sound in the vehicle. I had never heard the sound system at "its best" until 2 weeks ago when I put a new amp in. It's ok but not great - really wanting to do something after-market and the harness seems like a good starting point. |

So let me get this straight, you took out your logic7 amp then replaced it with an aftermarket one? <-- not sure how or why you would do that.
as for the harness, it seems to be the best option for adding an amp to the logic7 system, if you want a complete aftermarket setup you will have to do some digging as i have never heard of someone gutting the logic7. I do remember reading on here the the logic7 (maybe all systems) have some fiber optics running around, doesnt sound like fun to me. as for the link i posted of the harness, it still appears to be available?? Good luck |

No - I bought a car that had a broken Logic 7 amp. I had not done any research on the 750's stereo system and just assumed I could do some after-market stuff - my bad. A silver lining to this is I got to really appreciate the car after driving it 2 months with no noise in the cabin. The distorted noise from the speakers was impossible to listen to for any sustained length of time...
I went back and forth with the used-car dealer on getting it replaced. Long story short; He ended up replacing the two blown under-seat speakers and I paid for a new Logic 7 Amp. I was starting to regret the fact that I did this until I read that I couldn't use Technic's harness unless I had a working Logic 7 amp - and now I do. I have a Fosgate 2 ch punch amp and a Hertz 10" sub from a previous car that I am hoping to put to use with Technic's harness. Please share if you know these items will or won't work with my system. |

ahh that makes sense now.
As for your logic7 i think logic7 is the same throughout all bmw series but again that would be a great question for technic. I would assume it would fit tho. |
