Charge air temps Cobb datalog

Hey guys,

I am running stage 1 aggressive, I only have a metal charge pipe. If the air temps are cool can I run the stage 1+ even though I have a stock FMIC? I could monitor the charge air temps on stage 1+ to make sure the engine is "happy." What charge air temps is good for stage 1+?

Probably doesn't have anything to do with the ambient temp I am assuming. Is the "ECT" data parameter the charge air temp?

I wouldn't run the stage 1 + with the stock IC. There is a difference in pressure drop across the aftermarket IC's as well that I am sure cobb tuned for.
Wouldn't want to overboost.

Air temps are only a small portion of how happy a car is. Ignition timing is likely the most crucial aspect as well as air fuel.

You will likely have several indications of knock and reducing timing running that map.

Cobb Stage 1 FMIC is already more aggressive then Cobb Stage 2 for downpipes. Not only does it need an FMIC but even at stock boost levels the stock intercooler is inefficient.

For Mid $400's the VRSF FMIC is a no brainer, pick one up.
