So it'll work for a pre-lci e90?
But what happens to the heated seats button? I have them on the lower buttons along with hill decent. |

The main reason people swap out to this unit is if they are installing aftermarket stereo (example the new Dynavin N6, or any other screen HU). These radios are larger than factory & move the HVAC controls down to bottom of new conversion bezel - eliminating the space formerly taken up by the row of buttons below the HVAC. Aftermarket radios such as this supply an ashtray adapter that moves the button row down to the console in ashtray space.
Some do not like this - so they buy this unit so there is no need to relocate the row of buttons to the console, since the heated seats buttons are in the HVAC unit itself. In your case, where you have more than heated seat buttons in your row, & if you are getting this because you are installing aftermarket radio - it would make no sense, as you would still need to relocate the HDC to the console anyway...
