These are the least expensive, most proven one piece solutions by far. It's going to be tough to discount them any further but I'll see what I can do!

Hi Tiago,
If I buy the 2" OEM location inlets will they clamp okay to my stock turbos? I plan on upgrading my turbos next year so I'd prefer to not buy inlets twice.

Thanks

I'm running 2" mmp stock side inlets and they are fine on stockers. Just make sure its clamped down good enough

How hard are the driver side inlets going to be for my installer to put on while changing turbos? about how much additional labor time? the subframe will already be dropped for turbos.

They're a bit easier when changing turbos. I'd recommend setting aside 5-6 hours for a first time installer.

I just purchased VRSF silicone inlets, next week I have to mount them...I heard the instalation is not so easy and have to cut the oem ones if I don't lower the engine and detach the subframe..except the sound, with this mod I will gain some hp?I know the sound engine will be different..in a good way

You can expect to gain anywhere from 30-50whp depending on your mods

My mods:
-ER Charge pipe
-Tial BOV
-Wagner IC
-K&N Air filter
-VRSF Oil catch can
-VRSF inlets silicone
-MHD stage 1 map

After inlets add VRSF downpipes..Should be close to 400hp?

I would imagine you'd want to move past the MHD Stage 1 and probably contact Ken@wedgeperformance.com to get a custom tune. You'll probably put down more than 400whp.

Great suggestion. A custom tune from Ken will help you meet your goals.

Anyone have any links to a general inket DIY? Pics? Tips/Tricks?

Going to order these this week!!

I installed my VRSF DP's about almost a year ago now, VRSF deff makes good quality parts. And at a greatt price on top of that!

Tiago@vrsf
When i order the oem location inlets, is there anything else i should also order? Like things i might want to replace? New Gaskets? Any other upgrades to consider?

Also another Random question...
For the aftermarket DP's..
Is the oem gasket between the turbo exhaust "exit side" and the "V-Band side" of the DP?

My oem round thin gaskets, inbetween the turbo and the oem DP's was basically done. Local dealer didnt have it in stock, i previously had not even known there was a gasket supposed to be there, until i removed my oem DP's, to install the VRSF catless DP's..

So basically my question is... Are these gaskets that go inbetween each turbo and the DP's, essential for a solid exhaust seal and prefent exhaust leaks or possibly future exhaust leaks...?

Thanks
Anthony

You absolutely need the gasket between the downpipe and the turbos otherwise you'll have leaks. You should consider new gaskets for both sides when removing the downpipes.

Are there also o-rings between inlet and turbo input?? Is that where oil sometimes leaks?

You can use any of the available DIY's since all OEM location inlets install the same. Outlets were revised in order to clear the manifold so we don't run into the issues some of the other brands are having.

No o-ring between the turbo and the inlet, the inlet is made of a material similar to an o-ring

Thanks Tiago for above & email support while I installed my front inlet today.
I have to say the people who talk about doing the front in 1 hour must be VERY GOOD.
This took me 4.5 hours with help of 2 others!

It's just a very tight space to work in and if you're not up to speed with how to maneouver things around it takes a long long time.

We got there in the end but I would say if you don't feel confident, don't attempt it, leave it to professionals.

Did a test run and everything seems okay, no error codes & no tubes popped off (so far lol)
Will definitely leave the rear inlet to the mechanic...

Not sure if I felt any gains or anything.
Really hard to feel this kind of thing for me personally anyway lol.

Will take a data log later. Cheers
