Legal aspect of catless DP!!!!Input pls!!!
Hey guys,
I am seriously considering between catted or catless DP. If my concern about passing the air pollution test, should I go for the catted DP given that I will stick with stock exhaust. If anyone can confirm with me that catless DP with stock exhaust can still pass the test then, i will, for no doubt, go for catless dp getting the most in terms of HP. Thanks, Barton |

Everything I've heard about a catless / catless DP is that it will always fail and is somewhat illegal.

Buddy, I was in the same situation as you a while back. Pulled the trigger on a set of AR catless DP's for my 335.
Just get the O2 Downpipe Fix from Burger Tuning and you'll be set

If you worry you will fail then you should keep the original parts. Change back to stock before inspection. For sure you will PASS.

It doesn't get too loud. Mostly on cold-start ups and on WOT. Not so much when idling. You will will deff hear the turbos spool more, but no drone. And yes, catless DP's will be louder than catted DP's. One of the main reasons why people go with DP's is so they can go catless and for better airflow
