New tires and Rims

Hi, first time changing new rims and tires for my car. The car was on the oem rims for about 4 years. I hear I can re-use the TPM, anything I should change while Im at it? I hear its a good idea to change the seals and gaskets for the TPM? If so, where can I find the seals and gaskets for the best price?

Anything I should change while Im at it?

Thanks in advance.

No need to change the seals on the TPMS. If they need changing your local tire shop I'm sure can throw some in for you. However, if the car is over 4 years old I might suggest getting new TPMS sensors. They usually go bad after 4-5 years.

What wheel and tire setup where you going with?

If your sensors are in good shape, you may not need to change anything, but there are rebuild kits that you can purchase if you wanted to update them anyway. They're pretty inexpensive as well.

Get the rebuild kits off of eBay. Just bought a set of 4 for $10 shipped.

Do you have a link? I'm afraid of buying the wrong one. Are they all the same?

Got a set of VMR 19inch. Reason why I want to change is because my back two rear tires have been slowly leaking air. I think its cause the rims might have a slight bend. Reason why I don't think its the TPMS is because the leak has existed for over 2 years already (I use a portable air pump every week to refill) and still happens when i changed the tire. The tire shop 2 years ago told me its cause the rims are a bit bent, but i want to change the seals just for peace of mind.

If its for peace of mind then I say go for it. A little extra money to know the leak is fixed is worth it

Hi, re-visiting this. Does anyone know if I can just buy one of these or do I have to buy 4 for each tire? Is this the correct one?

There's a vehicle compatibility chart in the eBay ad that you posted. Use it to check for yourself. The answer is there if you do.
