Recommend Front Bumber for 335i

A raccoon the other day decided to walk across the road instead of running and dented my bumper. Damn animal had no idea how fast that cars goes...

So my insurance company is replacing the bumper at a cost of $1100, material labor and paint.

Since it is being replaced, I was figuring that I could upgade the bumber to something more agressive.

BMW offers the M-aerodynamics bumpers but they are $1250 and do not look much different than the stock bumbers.

So what would everyone recomment for the 335i

TIA

your right the bumber itself is about $285, so all the other costs are labor & paint and Fog light which got broken.

I think the $1250 bumper that BMW has include paint and labor as well to install it.

Thanks for the information and I did a search on Ebay, and came up with nothing. I am a bit concerned about the link you sent it looks like they are making knockoffs...

To be honest, i am not sure, I originally did not think I hit it, since I slammed on the brakes, I got home and the next day my son asked what happen to the bumper. The damn raccoon hit the bumper in two places, then again there could have been more then one...

Good eatin' critters. A little hot sauce and you're set.

...on a serious note...OEM Aero Front is the way to go.

The accessory book shows that bumper being $1250, primed, not sure why so much since its same material as the original, is that what you paid?

I wonder if I can get for the cost of what the insurance will pay?

Thanks, and it does look nice, your picture looks better than what they have in the book.

Yeah they can be cute when they are not running into your car or tearing through your garbage leaving it spread all over your lawn.

Not sure what a bumber is...is it next to the flex capacitor? or that black thing near the hyperspace actuator pump flange?

Yeah they used to do the latter, infact they still try, now I have my garbage in a metal bin with a clasp though so it's all good
