Wouldn't know, the POS has been stuck on my drive for the last 2 weeks. When I pulled the gearbox off, there was a small amount of oil on the heatshield and I had pretty low oil consumption so doesn't seem to be too bad.

Will probably still get them rebuild this winter though.

Possibly. I've heard that the seal design was changed and I had an early set so that might be the cause. I'm not too fussed though as there seems to be no major running issues with them.

Well as long as they are running ok i guess it is nothing to worry about.

Rob quoted me $3000 pretty much for the new ones, not sure on these or Vargas stg2 !

I guess it is all a case of longevity. You're in the good position where you can wait and see how reliable they are. Although as I think I mentioned to you, a lot goes on which isn't posted on the forums.

I haven't seen the VTT Stg2s hit 500whp yet though (might have missed it).
