not a bad idea. Not having to worry about storing an additional trunk around the house and worry about fitments, this would be perfect. It appears to line up nicely. He's making the most important piece of the CSL that everyone wants on their trunk and eliminated the fitment issues on gaps, great approach imo.

Is this a one or two piece like the china made trunks which has the seam line on the trunk lid?

only thing i didnt like about my erricson trunk was the seam line was visible on the top portion of the trunk lid which reduces the quality of the trunk. I was told all china and taiwan molds their trunks the same way.

Cool concept. I'd love to see it in person or some high quality up close pics to see how fitment it. If this ends up working out well, I guess an m3 carbon hood overlay would be cool. Maybe.

I guess he's coming out with a full kit to match the trunk and the hood is an LCI version which i hear has a sick ass over lay that truly changes the look of the car. I was advised not to order my LCI hood, which is a tad late. My order is sitting at the dealership and unsure if i can just return it. Damn, i have a feeling im going to regret buying the hood.

how many here have the full the trunk on their ride? 10% maybe? how many paint the lower half and paint their carbon fiber trunk? Fail are those who sell a product that don't fit period! Just my two cents.

Love the contrast, normally I'd hate on an overlay but this looks great on a silver car.

Hey Guys just came back from BimmerFest 2011 and saw Project M's booth they just finished the E92 trunk for the event. Here are the pictures he sent me, looks pretty sweet!!!! They have their website up and running now. If you guys have questions just go to ***************.com the owner told me he's taking pre-orders right now and the first 10 buyers will get discounts. I signed myself up and I believe there are several others that are also on the first group buy!! Cant Wait.
