Global Sales and Service is shit. Sales staff want to be sharks, and think they're clever. They're just full of crap and insulting. I have my own story about their sales department, but I'll spare you all.
I didn't even get to the service department because I walked out on the sales staff and the general manager after telling them, and the rest of the customers in the salesroom "warehouse" this. I'm not surprised at all about this nightmare service department story... I will not set foot in Global Imports, and I tell others to avoid them as well. I haven't been able to do any work with BMW of South Atlanta, but everyone I've talked to (sales, service, parts) has been helpful so far. Decided not go go with a new F10, and found a '03 E39, so I'll report back on the customer service of their parts/service department as I need to use them... |

+1. Taylor is Great. I know at least 10 people who take their cars to Taylor.

Global is terrible. Only good for new car lease or purchase as they are a large volume dealer. Stopped going to Global years ago. United BMW of Roswell is great IMO.

i used to praise Global, but my recent visit due to battery recall has made me change my tune.
they f**ked up my front euro license plate. I didn't notice it until I got to my office parking lot and noticed that it was bent forward, like it was pulled, or snagged something while the car was put in reverse. its a minor thing but annoying as heck. i also didn't like the SA assigned to me. finally, they were very pushy in having me return the loaner car the next day before 9am... negating the advantage of a loaner in the first place.

United of Roswell is where I've bought by cars, however I do all my service with Bevan Doyal at Nalley BMW in Decatur.

My $.02. I've used Global for over a decade and I've never had horrible service. In fact from my perspective it's sales which needs a change. They had a sales manager (Swiss national IIRC) back in the early 2000's who was great.
As for the OP. This really isn't the dealerships fault but I believe there's a SIB on leaking rear tail lamps. |
