Christmas has come early....
Holy shiny chargepipes batman......
Look what Mr Postman bought me from the good ol' US of A this morning. Only a week to arrive and no import tax! Winner! Oh look... a meth bung too for 'future use' Last edited by doughboy; 08-29-2012 at 05:16 AM.. |

Nice, I fitted one about 6 months ago as I had the old squeezable rubber connector between the intercooler & crappy plastic CP.
I ordered the black oem one, even though I didn't order it with a meth nozzle it still came with one which was odd. Enjoy!! |

No Kev, it's only really to give me the Meth bung screw hole i'll need soon.
It gets ride of the last bit of bendy plastic in the intake tract which might make it more responsive, but probably not. And it looks nice of course, and will sell on afterwards |

Do you mind me asking roughly how much you dropped on it mate?
I am keen to get one for 'future use' as well, but they seem expensive for what they are to me. Also, I need one that will fit with an ETS cooler, Forge DV's and a STETT CAI in there.... Could make for an interesting purchase! Matt |

It was $288 for the LCI pipe and $105 shipping. It comes with silicon hoses and decent stainless t-bolt clamps, and a sticker of course
So, $393 all in, or £240 shipped door to door. I didn't think that was too bad for a nice built of kit? Shame about the shipping cost though, you might be able to get cheap slow freight, but I'm impatient. I have Forge DVs (off at the mo) and an ETS IC already, so the extended fixed elbow on this charge pipe replaces the last section of squidgy rubber bellows that currently fits into the ETS silicon coupler at the upper end of the ETS black metal elbow. So i'll have a totally rigid charge pipe all the way from compressors to inlet manifold. You know it will sell on easy later anyway.... Last edited by doughboy; 08-29-2012 at 08:08 AM.. |
