Welcome lights don't work when unlocking.

So my welcome lights don't come on when unlocking the car anymore. I'm talking about the DRLs, and tail lights. MY LIGHT SWITCH IS ON AUTO. I did some searching and most suggested the battery was about to die so the computer starts to conserve power.
Well today I replaced my battery and it worked the first time but not after that so he problem still persists. Anyone have any suggestions ? Thanks

Mine didn't work when I first bought the car, turned out the battery had just drained whilst sitting in the dealer. After a long drive home they work every time now... Check the battery voltage with the engine running and if it's fine, check it with the engine off.
