REFERENCE FOR WALNUT BLASTING
Would like this thread to be a reference for walnut blasting.
Everyone (not only GA), please post before and after pictures of your intake valves and please input some details of your car. Start on post #36 for the first pictures.

Helpful information:
- N54 valves can gunked up at 36.5K. Please see post #54.
- N55 is cleaner than N54, they probably done something on N55 to reduce the buildup. Please check ONDEMAND’s post #46.
I am not a mechanic/expert, I just based these on what I saw/searched.

Edited the original post becasue the Dec'2013 Jan'2014 grp buy is over.
Converted this thread to be a reference for everybody who haven't done it.

SoloMotorsports is offering a group buy for walnut blasting.
Very good price!

There is a post regarding this on ATLbimmers FB group. I am posting it here for non members and people who are not in FB.

1) Group buy = Min 6 cars (I am confident that this would be easy)
2) Price = VERY LOW (Lowest that I've seen).
Please PM Solomotorsports here, on their FB page or me for the price.
3) Deposit = $20 (Paypal or card).
Paypal = info@solomotorsports.net
Deposit is "NEEDED" to confirm # of cars. We need to meet 6 cars.
4) When = You can schedule your car until January 31, 2014 after making the deposit for the group buy.

I wanna do this but can't get to ATL until after the new year, if I put the deposit down how long is the price good for?

I might be interested in this.. how fast can he get the job done? the plan is to drive there in the am and out of the state by late pm. Im guessing he is willing to make appointments to not help all 3 or 5 of us at the same time? Also, after the holidays. You can pm me the details.

Solo told me 3 to 4 hrs.. Per appointment for sure.

Currently 7 cars on fb group.. Pretty sure price will be lower if more.
