Are PIAA not brighter then Stock??
I just installed one side of the PIAA lights and they are white in colour but not as bright as the OEMs on the other side. The outer ring is barely visible on a cloudy day...
Could I have installed it incorrectly? or is this how they look like?

Yes the PIAA's are not very bright. if you have a e90 pre-lci sedan then both rings should be the same output at least. If you are looking for something that is significantly brighter you might want to look into the LUX E90 v5.1

I've got PIAA Super-Whites and they work fine - they're much brighter/whiter than stock. The Japanese bulbs I had before (GP Thunder 8500K) were brighter but didn't last a year. Also, the halo ring lights dim when the headlights are turned on (this is a feature, not an issue), so there's not much you can do about that. My early '07 E92 won't accept LEDs without getting an error from the computer, so I don't have much choice. I understand there is a newer (V2) model of the GP Thunder 8500K out there, so I might try some if/when my PIAAs go out on me.
