They called me like 4 times asking for Custom Brokers, and finally one agent connected me to A&A. They should've done this from the beginning!!!!! Anyways, it got cleared, and final charge from A&A is $222.23. I avoided the duty tax by saying that the kit is made in USA, not Germany. Last time I imported my rear bumper only from Tischer, I paid around $130 to UPS. Considering it is the whole kit this time, I think it's about right.. but still expensive...

So at the end of the day this was: US$900 for the kit US$300 for shipping ~CDN$223 for custom and taxes Not bad. Pricey but cheaper than buying it from the local dealership for sure! Who's going to do your painting and install? Show pics after install.

I guess i'm too late to tell you this....but...
I had the same situation, and all you have to do is just go to the custom's office and pay the duty and tax. There's an office in burnaby and in Downtown vancouver... I just went in their office and told them what happened, and handed them my credit card... I guess i saved 120 bucks there... |

i usually go to the shipping company get the papers, walk next door to the customs office beside the cafe runway. fill some other papers, pay, stamped. walk back to the shipping company hand the papers and tell them i want it delivered.

People there at the customs office were pretty nice, so no broker needed. |

A little tip for you guys, every time you buy in Europe(Mainly Germany) always use the shipping from DHL Regular Post International(7 to 10 days) and then its handled with CanadaPost when it enters the country,
if you need Express shipping, Use DHL Express(way cheaper than crooked Hillary,Sorry Crooked UPS,Fedex ,I slipped lol = US based company of greed ,see their top share Holder and youll understand why,) |
