Guys, here's the thread for the Auto-Links group buy in the GTA that I set up with the owner, John, back in the spring of 2010. John noted that so long as the minimum threshold was met (it was) he would honour the group buy rate for any E90Post/E90 member that came to Auto-Links thereafter.

I'm not sure if the GB rate is still $260 or may have been adjusted a bit, but it would be worth a quick call to see what the price is. John and his guys do excellent work, and come highly recommended by many of us.

Of note regarding scratching, many of us went with John's recommendation to have the second wiper on the rear window seals trimmed off, and not install moleskin at all. The flip-side of the "moleskin protects" is that moleskin also attracts and retains dirt, keeping that dirt in contact with the tint. A year and a half later, I have no hint of scratching on the tints.

Yup got tint today...20 in the back and 38 in the front. It looks not so evident because of the light interior. Fingers crossed!

Good question.

I think the key slot is just a "holder" but I could be wrong. Mine hasn't left my jacket pocket since picking up the vehicle.

You don't need the key. Just habit of putting a key into a car

Only complaint so far, live in a condo, cant get the main garage door to sync up .

It does sit fairly low - the only problem with mine is that the dealership put on the winters - darn. The wheels it comes with are really great but with snow sometime in the next 3-5 weeks in Calgary, I'd be lined up at the dealer to get them changed in no time. oh well,

I'm cross shopping around with Tire Rack, Kal Tire, etc before the winter dump comes!

I got an offer for $1600 with 17"rim with dunlop sport 3d, tax inclued. Not sure if it's a good deal or not.

What kind of rims and from who? My dealer price is $3,100 iirc.

BTW, my delivery is now pushed to Fri or Sat as my dealer waits for BMW to send them the power kit to install.

Err no I haven't bothered with the APPS issue yet...and the overboost, not owning a bmw before I have no idea how to tell the difference.

I got quoted 1775 for 17" Winter Tires and Rim Package, with Shipping included
-Rims are BMW Replicas and look very nice!
-Michelin Xice 2 or continental extreme sport or contact sport or something another

I emailed them back to figure out to confirm and then I'm placing an order.

Place out of Montreal.

Me too. Was supposed to get it Wed, then the dealer said they were waiting for the power kit from BMW to install and it would be tomorrow or Sat, and now they're saying the car is being sent back to port and delivery will be at the end of the month. Very disappointing.

That really sucks, I would be so annoyed.

I havent owned a BMW before, how do we know that the ones that have already been received has the power kit?

I know mine doesnt have BMW APPS.
